What I’ve worked on, and what it taught me

You can’t add privacy later.

Patients looking for a medical cannabis card needed a private way to find a provider and get through the paperwork. I co-founded Clinic Management Services and ran its operations. We built a network of 50 websites that connected patients with healthcare providers and handled more than 2,000 applications and concierge conversations a month, with an eight-person team I trained in the Philippines. Because the information was medical, privacy shaped every system we built.

Scaling is mostly replacing chaos with systems without slowing momentum.

There were no systems yet, so I built the first version of each process myself, hired and trained people to own it, and moved to the next gap. I oversaw the build-out of a cGMP manufacturing and hazardous-materials shipping facility and represented the company at more than 100 industry conferences. True Terpenes went from an early-stage startup to roughly $13 million in annual revenue in about 24 months, selling into more than 20 states.

What we were: previously a raw-materials supplier, then a formulation and flavor house, because customers asked for custom blends

From project manager to President.

Plant Synergy needed its products, suppliers and partners run as one system. I owned the product lifecycle from concept through manufacturing, distribution and commercialization: the roadmap, the contract manufacturers and logistics partners, and the processes that kept quality steady as volume grew.

New science only helps if the people who have to act on it can understand it.

Oregon’s Measure 109 created the country’s first state-regulated psilocybin program. People preparing to grow psilocybin mushrooms or run service centers had to understand mycology, testing and operations while the rules were still being written. Psymbio was my consulting project in that period. I focused on mycology and operations and coordinated the analytical testing and product development.

Preparing for a market that doesn’t open is still preparation.

Supermind prepared a digital and commercial platform for the market expected to follow approval of MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD. I lead product and information systems. I also envisioned and built Psybrary after seeing a need for access to harm-reduction information. It answers psychedelic research questions with sources, at ask.psychedelics.com.

The market: previously MDMA-assisted therapy, after approval, then longevity. In August 2024 the FDA declined to approve Lykos Therapeutics’ application, and I helped turn the work toward longevity.

Most companies get one moment when the market is listening.

Super Human Digital is a longevity media company. I work with leadership to turn priorities into plans and see them through, across operations, product, business development and how we take things to market.
